The City of Clarksville needed to build a modern website that would help the City to engage with its citizens as well as pay tribute to past, present, and future of their proud community. The project had great aspirations and was given an aggressive “end of the budget year” deadline. Every website goal was surpassed and the website launched ahead of schedule due to the City’s partnership with the experienced team at Vision Internet.
The new design and updated content pays tribute to the natural beauty and many accomplishments of Clarksville. A dynamic homepage packed with helpful information, intuitive navigation features and vibrant community photos immediately greets site visitors. From recent news stories, to upcoming calendar events, to a personal note from Mayor Kim McMillan, everything is easy to access and designed to keep the community well informed.
Many City services can now be accomplished on the new website including sending and tracking
citizen service requests, applying for jobs, paying tickets, subscribing to the City newsletter, and staying easily connected via direct links to the City’s social media. The new website is powered by the easy-to-use
visionCMS™ that allows 20+ registered City staff members to actively make updates to the website.
