The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government serves the second largest city in the state of Kentucky, an area renowned for its breeding of Thoroughbred horses. It’s prestigious standing within the region and among horse aficionados worldwide meant that it needed a stronger online presence. Vision Internet was selected to develop the community’s new website because of its expertise with content management solutions for local government agencies.
The website’s Vision Content Management System™ enables staff to administer information and documents, including online forms, eNotification subscriptions, news updates, and more, through intuitive browser-based forms. Staff can also use the visionCMS™ to store all documents and images used throughout the website in a centralized location and to insert this content into various webpages as necessary. Additionally, Connected Pages keep information consistent, as an update on one webpage can be reflected on other webpages without duplicating effort.
