A vibrant residential and commercial community in the San Diego area, the City of National City needed a website that reflected its multicultural aspect while also incorporating the City’s new logo and branding efforts. To this effect, Vision Internet was selected to develop a new community website based on its years of experience with local government projects.
City staff are able to create their own online forms using the Form/Survey Tool, which has provided residents with a means to communicate directly with their local government. An online form customized for the website also allows residents to submit service requests to staff members. Additionally, an Intranet site was developed for staff to share internal information and resources. While management of the main website and Intranet site are handled separately, selected content can be shared on both without duplication of effort.
