The site was the recipient of the prestigious Public Technology Inc. (PTI) award plus it received national recognition from the U.S. DOT Federal Transit Administration for its ease of use and interactive tools, both which help people find information quickly. When the site was launched, the site included many firsts such as an interactive route finder, maps and its integration with touch screen kiosks located throughout the city where visitors quickly locate bus routes, schedules, and points of interest.
