Sweetwater Authority in responsible for providing safe, reliable water service to more than 180,000 people in National City, Bonita, and western Chula Vista, California. Because of the sensitivity of the information and services that the website provides, security was one of the organizations biggest concerns. It was because of the built-in security features of
thevisionCMS™ such as .NET framework security mechanisms, MD5 encrypted sensitive information, and SSL, that the Agency chose to work with Vision Internet on the development of their new website.
Graphically, their website has been updated to capture both water and natural conservation elements important to the overall mission of Sweetwater Authority. Additionally, a unique design theme was created for the South Bay Irrigation District. To resurrect user functionality, interior pages were reorganized and site navigation was tailored to the Agency’s specific needs. All design and functionality were passed on to the Agency’s mobile website, powered by visionMobile™.
