Vision Internet became the vendor of choice because of their impressive portfolio of governmental site designs, the user friendly content management system, and suite of interactive components.

When approaching the design of their website, Dorchester County wanted to provide more information to the public through increased online interactivity. The previous website did not reflect this progressive direction that the County was taking. It was important for the County to have all public outreach on the same page in order to create a unified informational front. This was accomplished by working with Vision Internet to create the new Dorchester County website.
Previously, the County depended on one webmaster to update all content on the website. This was difficult and a burden because of the high volume of change requests. By implementing a CMS that allows all staff members to update the site easily without technical knowledge, the County is now able to add information on a regular basis. Updated images and content have been intuitively placed within a network of navigational tools - making information easily accessible for website users.
