The City of Evansville and Vanderburgh County worked with Vision Internet to combine their online efforts into one cohesive website that successfully serves both the City and County. To do this, online surveys were sent out to citizens to gain an understanding of what would best suit the community. The website was strategically developed to provided the most accurate information and most advanced services to their multi-faceted audience.
The homepage design uses a network of dropdown menus, intuitive icons, quick links, and steaming news and events sections to share important information immediately or within a single click of the homepage.
Interactive Components found on this website include E-Notifier, Document Central, GIS Maps, Staff Directories, and many more. Additionally, two individual design themes were created for Burdette Park and Mesker Park Zoo in order to provide a unique outlook for these popular points of interest.
