Vision Internet and the City of Gillette teamed up to create a website that focuses on providing site visitors with a wealth of knowledge that is organized and easy to navigate. The two teams were given a tight deadline in which to build the website; however the Vision Process provided the efficient guidance needed to build an outstanding website on-time and on-budget. The result of this collaboration is a website that reflects the community’s strong connection with nature, economic development, and active living.
The City is able to keep their website information current with the Vision Content Management System. The Vision CMS provides City staff with a structured workflow and approval process that allows for updates to be made in minutes without any knowledge of HTML coding. Through onsite training provided by Vision Internet, over 40 city staff members are now posting new web content including written articles, photos, and videos, keeping the community up to speed on the latest news and events. The new website has been well received by the community and holds true to the City’s motto, providing “Service with P.R.I.D.E.”.
