The Town of Dillon had recently completed a new series of logos to rebrand itself as The place to vacation all year long. To accompany this rebrand, the Town staff members decided to redevelop their existing website. By showcasing Dillon as a four-season destination instead of just a popular ski spot, they hope to attract year round tourists and commercial vendors to improve their overall economic development.
By working with the team at Vision Internet, the redesigned website reflects the Town’s new branding by featuring multiple homepage themes that can be updated with the changing of the seasons. Additionally, the website contains unique design elements for each of the main navigation categories. In order to make the website user friendly, the previous content and sitemap were reorganized and the user interface was formatted to be service-oriented. The new website features include Live Webcams, a photo gallery, e-Notification, RSS Feeds and Dynamic News.
