The Health Care District of Palm Beach County, a comprehensive public health care system in southeast Florida, worked with Vision Internet to redesign its website into a more informative, visual, dynamic, and cost-effective communications resource for the community. The safety-net agency was looking to improve its reach to the public with up-to-date information regarding services, access points throughout the county and other news.
The design of the new site features photos and stories of those the District serves to effectively and efficiently communicate the value of the public agency’s programs. Utilizing the Vision Content Management System™, the District can now easily update content and incorporate many interactive features. A few examples of these are a dynamic map, which shows all locations served in the county and allows users to filter locations by category; automatic mapping of all addresses on the website; and the use of the on-line forms /survey tool to streamline internal processes. These features, coupled with the easy-to-use content editor, have equipped the District with an effective and manageable website.
