For more than 30 years, Virginia Highlands Community College has served Southwest Virginia by offering quality education services for the region. However, the College’s pervious website design was outdated and the navigation was confusing to site users. In order to better communicate with faculty and current and prospective students, VHCC worked with Vision Internet to implement a new website.
The updated website created with Vision Internet includes advanced features such as a filterable calendar of events, an “In the Spotlight” section with RSS feeds and an e-Learning section dedicated to online educational courses. The website is now updated using the Vision Content Management System. The easy to use interface of the visionCMS™ not only makes it simple for staff to manage the website but also allows select students to assist in supervised website updates.
