The City of Prairie Village partnered with Vision Internet to create a dynamic website that would not only help the community but would be easy to update for city staff members. They were able to achieve both of these goals through the implementation of the top government content management system, the
visionCMS™. Over 20 staff members are now able to make department specific changes to the website – keeping the site content relevant and fresh.
With a simple to use navigation network in place, site visitors can now find anything they need within a few clicks of the mouse. To keep up with emerging Gov 2.0 technologies, the city has created Facebook and Twitter accounts which can be reached through direct links found in the site header. Additional Gov 2.0 features include RSS Feeds, Forward to a Friend, e-Notification, and
OneClick Social Networking™.
