The Village of Barrington and Vision Internet worked through the
Vision Process™ to create a website that corresponds with the communities rebranding initiatives. Elements from the Village seal, bold primary colors, and unique icons all work together to create a welcoming and informative homepage. Immediately upon entering the site, the rotating slideshow, “Latest News”, “In the Spotlight…”, and “Upcoming Events” sections provide the user with the latest details on what’s happening within the Village.
A number of helpful eGovernment services are now available through the website and are all conveniently located using the “I Want To…” menu found on the site’s main navigation. Residents can easily pay bills online, download documents and forms, apply for job openings, and much more. Over 20 Village staff members make continual updates to pages specific to their department. This keeps the website relevant, useful, and interesting for all that visit.
