In the News--GovTech: Vision Internet Announces What's Next (VIDEO)

SANTA MONICA, Calif.-- Vision Internet teamed up with Kristi Fifelski, aka GovGirl, to create a fun video announcing the launch of their new brand identity and redesigned website, www.visioninternet.com. Progressing beyond 'The Government Website Experts', Vision Internet is now known as 'Innovators of Online Government' and sports a new tagline: 'creating what's next'.

"Innovation is contagious," said Steve Chapin, Vision Internet's president and founder. "Our designers and programmers never stop looking for new ways to capture the unique personality of each city and county we serve. As a result, the websites we produce have the power to energize communities and inspire citizens to take a more active role in local government. This is why our new brand campaign is built around 'What's Next' in online government."

Promoting the launch, GovTech featured the following article about Vision Internet's company re-brand and fresh, new website design.

Vision Internet published a funny video last year to announce the release of their new content management system, winning them an International Communicator Award for online video humor.

When the company's president, Steve Chapin, asked me a year later to help them announce their new website and focus on what's next in government innovation - I said sure! How do you attempt to top an award-winning video? I figured a parody would be a good approach.

We unveiled this video during the Innovation Technology Forum at the 25th annual national 3CMA conference last month, and now I'm publishing it on GovGirl for you. This video was so much fun to put together! I went old school in this vid, with a cameo from my mom and an appearance by my dog. Make sure to watch the original video first, and learn more about Vision Internet.
